Value Chain Analysis for Development program launched at Europe Café

On 17 March, at Europe Café, we launched the Value Chain Analysis for Development program in Moldova.
The program involves two essential studies on the value chains for wheat, maize, and sunflower, to be conducted from January to October 2025.
These analyses will provide clear insights into:
– the value chain’s contribution to economic growth
– the inclusion of small farmers in economic development
– social sustainability – impact on communities
– environmental sustainability – impact on the environment

The results will help authorities identify issues and opportunities in the agricultural sector, guiding policies to support farmers.
