Meeting of the European Investment Bank representatives with local journalists
EIB, the EU Bank, as part of the #TeamEurope will provide €60 million of support in the form of low interest-rate credits for the horticulture sector from the Republic of Moldova. The announcement was made by Alberto Carlei, the Head of the European Investment Bank representation for the Republic of Moldova, during his first meeting with local journalists hosted by Europe Café. The EU Bank, part of Team Europe, brings a contribution to the efforts of improving the life of Moldovan citizens. Since 2007, the European Investment Bank has been implementing projects with a total value of €800 million.
The European Union, via projects implemented by EIB, provides support to SMEs, education and research, transport and energy sector, as well as water supply and related infrastructure, all for the benefit of the citizens in the entire country.
