Women4Security: new partnerships for peace, with active involvement of women in the Republic of Moldova

On 14 April, the Ministry of Internal Affairs organised a debates and networking event, which brought together women from public institutions, such as Parliament, Government, local public authorities and the diplomatic community in the Republic of Moldova. The event is part of the range of activities launched within the Together4Home Affairs platform.

The purpose of the event is to maintain and intensify the cooperation of women within the mentioned institutions and organisations, as well as to establish new sustainable partnerships. Thus, the importance of team building and activities to ensure security in crisis situations, was emphasized.

During the event, participants discussed security issues, as well as increasing the legislative, administrative and operational capacities of the Republic of Moldova to prevent risks in the context of security threats in the region.

The activity was organised by the Ministry of Internal Affairs in partnership with the project “EU High Level Advisers’ Mission”, funded by the European Union.
