Young European Ambassadors discuss the topic of more active women’s involvement in executive roles

The Fishbowl debate on Leadership Representation: Increasing Women in Executive Roles gathered at Europe Café young people who share European values and get involved in activities aimed at changing society for the better.

Women’s rights are always important, not just in the context of International Women’s Day. To confirm this, on March 13, the Young European Ambassadors gathered to discuss women’s leadership in a fishbowl debate at the Europe Café.

Do women need special support to reach executive roles? It seems not. Because they are already doing it very well on their own. The participants of the debates organized by the Young European Ambassadors reached this conclusion last night, during the Fishbowl debates.

Another conclusion reached by the young people is that the higher percentage of women in executive roles improves corporate performance. Ensuring the rights of women and girls in all aspects of life is the only way to build a prosperous and just society.
