490.000 euros for social enterprises

14 social enterprises from both banks of the Dniester River received grants of 35.000 euros each from the European Union in order to provide more aid to vulnerable groups.

The grants will support the associations in creation of about 80 jobs for disadvantaged people, and over 700 people will benefit from free services or products.

The grants were awarded under the project ‘Civil society contributes to the inclusive and sustainable economic development of the country’, implemented by the Eastern European Foundation, funded by the European Union and co-financed by Sweden.
