The EU Ambassador in Chisinau discussing the European future of Moldova in dialogue with USM students

More than 100 future diplomats from the faculty of International Relations, Political and Administrative Sciences, students of the State University of Moldova, had the opportunity to discuss the European future of the Republic of Moldova with the EU Ambassador in Chisinau, Jānis Mažeiks.

The subject of the discussion was Moldova’s future in Europe, taking into consideration the opening of accession negotiations.

What is the role of negotiators in the process of Moldova’s accession to the European Union? What are the predictions and expectations for the European Parliament elections in the summer of 2024 and how will the results of these elections influence Moldova’s accession path to the EU?

The young people had multiple and diverse questions, which turned into an hour of consistent discussions on political topics. The EU Ambassador’s visit to the State University of Moldova was organized as part of FRISPA Student Days (Faculty of International Relations, Political and Administrative Sciences).
