Domestic violence and psychosocial support services’ the theme of a press club hosted by Europe Café

On September 19, in the premises of Europe Café, the National Centre for the Prevention of Child Abuse (NCPCA) organized a press club with the theme: ‘Access of children victims of violence to psychosocial assistance services in the Republic of Moldova’. Journalists together with experts in the field discussed such topics as:

  • The need to create specialized psychosocial rehabilitation services for child victims of violence and their families;
  • Access of child victims of violence to psychosocial rehabilitation services;
  • Development of psycho-social assistance services for child victims of violence;
  • Piloting within NCPCA the first psycho-social assistance service for child victims.

The press club was organized by the National Centre for the Prevention of Child Abuse (NCPCA) in partnership with the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection and with the financial support of the European Union. The event was organised within the ‘Eastern Partnership – Solidarity Program against COVID-19’ project, financed by the European Union and implemented by People in Need Moldova.
