6 Years of Europe Café. 10 Years of Young European Ambassadors. Growing Together. Celebrating Together!
Europe Café is turning six! We’re proud of how far we’ve come and want to celebrate this milestone with you. Over the years, the EU’s main Information Centre in Chișinău has hosted more than a thousand warm gatherings, conversations about EU values, memorable events and new friendships made over a good cup of coffee. And this year, there’s twice as much to celebrate! Our friends, the Young European Ambassadors (YEAs), are marking 10 years of bringing young voices, energy and European values closer to communities across the region. Since Europe Café has always been a home for their workshops, debates and bold ideas, celebrating these two milestones together feels only natural.
Join us on 1 October for a relaxed European street café experience, with complimentary coffee, sweet treats, urban sketching, good music and plenty of warm conversations. On this day, art, music, stories and great people come together at their home away from home — Europe Café.
What’s on the menu?
- 11:00–16:00 — Street Café Mood & DJ Set
We’ll ease into the day with complimentary coffee, something sweet and a chilled playlist mixed by our DJ. - 13:00–15:00 — Youth Corner with the Young European Ambassadors (YEAs)
Come meet the YEAs, hear their stories and find out how you can become part of this vibrant network! The call for new members is open until 12 October 2026, so it’s the perfect time to get inspired. - 16:00–17:00 — Art Exhibition Opening: Nichita Rădeanu (Apartamentul 12)
Step into a colourful and expressive visual journey through the work of artist Nichita Rădeanu. - 17:00–18:00 — Urban Sketchers Chișinău
Watch art come to life before your eyes. Artists Alina Kritarova and Maria Redko will capture the atmosphere of Europe Café through sketches made on the spot. Pick up a pencil, choose whatever catches your eye and sketch alongside them — every perspective tells a different story. - 18:00–19:00 — Stories & Local Wines Celebrated in the EU
We’ll wrap up the day with a guided tasting of local wines that have made their way onto the European market, along with the stories behind small Moldovan wineries supported by the EU.
