Talking about Europe at Etno Fest in Taraclia

20/09/2025

On September 20, we celebrated the cultural diversity of Moldova’s ethnic communities in the south of the country. Etno Fest Taraclia 2025 was a true celebration of traditions, and we were delighted to share it with wonderful people — Bulgarians, Gagauz, Moldovans, Ukrainians, and Romanians. We admired traditional costumes, dances, and songs, enjoyed local dishes, and had a great time together.

We brought the spirit of Europe to the EU Information Centre stand, where visitors discovered:
– information about the European Union and its opportunities,
– interactive activities and games for youth and families,
– open discussions about what European integration means for local communities.

We were glad to see so many curious and open-minded people at an event that united local traditions with European values.
Thank you to everyone who visited us, shared ideas, and smiled with us. Europe feels closer when we are together.

Etno Fest is an annual cultural event held in Taraclia since 2001. Its main goal is to promote the traditions, customs, and culture of Moldova’s ethnic communities, as well as intercultural dialogue and interethnic harmony.
