The Lower Dniester Through Four Seasons: Documentary Screening and Discussion at Europe Café
More than 200 bird species. More than 80 fish species. More than 1,000 plant species. And an entire world that, most of the time, we never get to see.
At Europe Café, we discovered the Lower Dniester through the documentary “Lower Dniester. The Language of Nature” and through the stories of the team that spent a year documenting the area across all four seasons — underwater, at night, through the floodplain forests and in places that are difficult to capture with the naked eye.
After the screening, we talked about biodiversity, ecotourism and how we can preserve this living world so that it remains a part of the lives of the communities that call it home.
