Vărvăreuca: A family returning home invests in precision agriculture

After years of working in Italy, Tudor Țibrigan and his three sons returned home and built an agricultural business in Vărvăreuca. The family farms approximately 200 hectares, and the development of the farm also involves investing in technologies that help use agricultural machinery more efficiently.

With an €11,000 grant provided by the European Union, the business acquired navigation systems with hydraulic control for agricultural machinery. These systems help machinery follow work routes more precisely and reduce overlap between passes. In practice, the technology can mean fewer unnecessary trips and more efficient use of fuel and other resources.

For the Țibrigan family, European support complements the investments they made after returning home. It represents an important change in the day-to-day work of a farmer: greater precision in the field and modern tools for developing the business.
