Electrical equipment, agricultural products and furniture – main export goods of the Republic of Moldova to the EU in 2025

Electrical equipment, agricultural products, furniture items, fats and oils, as well as wines and beverages were the main categories of goods exported by the Republic of Moldova to the European Union in 2025.

The total value of Moldovan exports to the European Union exceeded USD 2.55 billion. Electrical equipment accounted for USD 496.8 million, followed by agricultural products at USD 489.1 million, furniture at USD 127.9 million, fats and oils at USD 122.4 million, and wines and beverages at USD 100.4 million. Together, these categories represent almost half of exports to the European market.

In January–November 2025, the main export destinations of the Republic of Moldova in the EU were Romania (29.2%), Italy (9.2%), Czechia (8.3%), Germany (4.0%), and Bulgaria (3.5%).

The share of exports to the European Union amounted to 68.1% of total exports of the Republic of Moldova in 2025, increasing compared to previous years: 67.3% in 2024, 65.4% in 2023, and 58.6% in 2022.
