EU Ambassador Attends Screening of “În drujba Moscovei”: Moldova’s Recent History in the Spotlight

The European Union Ambassador to the Republic of Moldova, Iwona Piórko, attended the screening of the documentary “În drujba Moscovei”, produced by Ziarul de Gardă and hosted at Europe Café.
The film explores 35 years of Russian influence in the Republic of Moldova and its impact on language, identity, memory and public freedoms, in a context where resilience to disinformation remains particularly important.
“Every country needs to keep its history alive and make it known to society as a whole. I appreciate the work of the Ziarul de Gardă team, which invites us to reflect on the recent history of the Republic of Moldova and to speak openly about the lessons it teaches us,” the Ambassador stated.
