HAUS and eGA Introduced EUR 5 Million EU-Funded Project to Support Public Administration Reform in Moldova
The Public Administration Reform in Moldova (MD PAR) project was introduced to a wider group of stakeholders at an information session today, marking the start of its implementation. The session brought together representatives of the State Chancellery of the Republic of Moldova, the EU Delegation to the Republic of Moldova, the Embassies of Finland and Estonia, development partners, and civil society.
MD PAR is a EUR 5 million, EU-funded project implemented by HAUS Finnish Institute of Public Management together with the e-Governance Academy (Estonia). It supports Moldova’s EU accession by strengthening the effectiveness, coordination and digitalisation of its central public administration.
The project focuses on strengthening the strategic planning and coordination of reforms, improving human resource management systems in the public sector, and advancing digitalisation to enhance service delivery and give people better ways to provide feedback on public services. It also supports the development of skills and competencies within the public administration to ensure the long-term sustainability of reforms.
The project will work closely with the State Chancellery and other central government bodies. It will bring practical experience from EU countries to help Moldova build a more effective, open and resilient public administration.
