EU4Environemnt: Inter-ministerial dialogue on Green Economy organised in the Republic of Moldova

The Meeting of the Inter-ministerial Working Group on Sustainable Development and Green Economy took place on 10 September 2021, with the participation of the National Implementation Committee of EU4Environment project in the Republic of Moldova, the Ministry of Environment and the Ministry of Economy.

The main objectives of the meeting were to present the final evaluation of the implementation of the Programme on the promotion of Green Economy for 2018-2020 and recommendations for the development of the new program for 2022-2027; present the information paper on the EU Green Deal and the state of the green transition in the Republic of Moldova; present the updated Green Growth Indicators (GGIs) for Moldova and new indicators; present the current state of the implementation of EU4Environment in Moldova in 2021 (with contribution/presentation from Implementing Partners); present the detailed workplans for the last 4 months of 2021 and general activity plans for 2022 (with contribution/presentation from Implementing Partners) including the planned EU4Environment regional events; and present the country workplan for the Result 4 for 2021-2022.

The meeting took place in virtual format and was moderated by Ms Iordanca-Rodica Iordanov, State Secretary, Ministry of Environment.
