EU High Level Advisers’ Mission: progress discussed during the project’s Steering Committee meeting

The 5th Steering Committee meeting of the Project “Support to the Implementation of the EU High Level Advisers’ Mission” took place on 19 October 2021. Members of the Steering Committee – representatives of the Delegation of the European Union to the Republic of Moldova and Government institutions – discussed and assessed the activities carried out during the first semester of 2021.

In the opening of the meeting, Adrian Ermurachi, Deputy Secretary General of the Government, emphasized the usefulness of the project and the valuable support the Government is receiving via the EU High Level Advisers’ (HLAs) Mission.

Magdalena Mueller-Uri, Head of the Cooperation the Delegation of the European Union to the Republic of Moldova, underlined the high demand of the beneficiary institutions for the expertise available within the EU HLA Mission, expressing appreciation for the fruitful cooperation with the HLAs and the project team.

Pavlos Kollias, Team Leader of the Mission, presented the main activities carried out in the framework of the project, included in its 5th Semestrial Interim Report, which was endorsed by the Steering Committee members. The meeting also served as a platform to discuss and decide on the current situation of the EU High Level Advisers Mission and future steps and activities envisaged for the upcoming period.
