Moldova starts the EU accession negotiations

On June 25, 2024, Moldova officially started the EU accession negotiations.
The Ministers of Foreign Affairs and European Affairs of the EU member states had a meeting with the representatives of the Government in Chisinau.
The EU integration process of Moldova started in 2014, with the signing of the RM-EU Association Agreement and went through several important stages. The duration of the negotiations depends on the speed of the reforms implementation. Afterwards, a certain number of steps will follow. The detailed Moldova’s European journey is presented here.
