Empowerment of youth entrepreneurship in Moldova

Project Description
The Action aims to strengthen civil society to participate more effectively and actively in the protection of human rights, and to mobilize citizens and represent their interests, especially at the local level. It is foreseen that level of sustainability and resilience of civil society organizations will raise through the project and therefore contribute to further democratization and development of civil society through financial and professional support to the stabilization and further organizational and program development of CSOs.
Youth capacities in entrepreneurship will be enhanced by the project through tailor made income generation assistance complemented with provision of required trainings.
Specific Objective
Overall objective: Support to the improvement of the Civil Society role in community development and provision of services to the citizens.
Specific objective: Strengthening youth capacities in entrepreneurship through coordinating activities of involved CSOs.
Expected Results
Op 1. At least 10 local CSOs increased their capacities in regard to provision of support for youth entrepreneurship
Op 2. 200 young persons started/developed their own businesses through start-up support consisting of in-kind grants and training packages
