Young people from over 14 countries participated in European Parliament Simulation at Europe Café

From August 20 to 22, 2024, the Europe Café hosted a series of European Parliament session simulations, organized by the European Youth Parliament (EYP) Moldova Initiative.

Dozens of young people from over 14 countries — including Ukraine, Romania, Moldova, the Czech Republic, Spain, Turkey, Poland, Ireland, Armenia, the Netherlands, Greece, Finland, the United Kingdom, and Italy—came together to work individually and in teams. At round tables and workshops, they developed proposals and engaged in debates focused on addressing European and global challenges. These activities fostered collaboration and interaction among young people from diverse backgrounds and countries. And the collaboration doesn’t end here! The participants will continue to work on developing resolutions and policy recommendations, honing their public speaking and negotiation skills, and building a youth network across Europe.

Together, they are preparing to take part in the 101st, 102nd, and 103rd International Sessions of the EYP — international events hosted by the national committees of Spain, the Netherlands, and Finland, with participants from all over Europe.
