“Oskolok”: Stories of People from Both Banks of the Dniester, United by a Shared Memory

The European Union Ambassador to the Republic of Moldova, Iwona Piórko, attended the premiere of the documentary film “Oskolok”, produced by the Malenkaya Strana team.
Through the stories of people from both banks of the Dniester, the film explores how a war that disregarded people’s hopes, plans and beliefs has shaped their lives.
This documentary reminds us that people on both banks of the Dniester have far more in common than what divides them. Listening to one another is an essential step towards mutual understanding.
