Bălți Clinical Hospital – modernized equipment and spaces for emergencies

At the Bălți Clinical Hospital, with the help of European Union funding, an emergency department of approximately 2,000 m² was renovated and equipped with computed tomography, ultrasound, and spaces for medical interventions. Now, doctors can provide medical care faster and more efficiently.
The modernization of the hospital cost over 60 million lei, of which approximately 2 million lei represented the contribution of the European Union. Two years earlier, the hospital had benefited from approximately 7 million lei through other European projects, including “EU4Moldova: Building a Sustainable Health System.” For patients from Bălți and the north of the country, the hospital’s renovation means access to examinations and interventions in a modernized department, and for the medical staff – better working conditions and equipment.
