Europe Café Invites You to “The Geometry of the Unseen” Exhibition by Elena Frunze

21/07/2026

Some forms can be seen with the eyes, while others can only be perceived with the heart. This July, we invite you to slow down, take a pause, and look beyond appearances. Europe Café becomes a space for emotions and inner exploration as we open the doors to “The Geometry of the Unseen”, a solo exhibition by visual artist Elena Frunze, on Tuesday, 28 July, at 4:00 PM.

A Map of Emotions Woven from Lines and Symbols

This exhibition is not about depicting the visible world. Elena Frunze’s paintings explore the subtle, invisible order that shapes our existence. Through circles, spirals, triangles, and mysterious symbolic scripts, the artist creates a captivating visual language that speaks of memory, the passage of time, transformation, and the delicate meeting point between matter and spirit.

The exhibition offers a welcome respite from the pace of everyday life. It invites visitors to look beyond the surface and discover their own interpretations within a universe of forms that is constantly evolving.

Admission is free, and the exhibition will be open to the public Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, at Europe Café.

Curator: Eugenia Munteanu.

With more than two decades of artistic experience, Elena Frunze is a well-known and highly regarded member of Chișinău’s creative community. Her passion is equally devoted to painting and ceramics, as well as to mentoring the next generation of artists through her teaching at the Academy of Music, Theatre and Fine Arts (AMTAP) and the Picasso Art Studio.

If you’ve ever passed by the Artcor building, you’ve likely seen “Identification,” the striking façade artwork that Elena Frunze created together with architect Maxim Calujac and artist Vasile Sitari.

Elena Frunze is also a longtime friend of Europe Café. Earlier this year, she curated “Between Dream and Reality,” an exhibition by painter Bianca Bandalac, in our gallery space. This time, she returns to unveil a world entirely her own.

We look forward to welcoming you on Tuesday, 28 July 2026, at 4:00 PM, at Europe Café.
