From RURAL to PLURAL: building rural youth ecosystems through European Youth Village

17/08/2026

ANPCDEFP, the Romanian National Agency of the Erasmus+ programme, invites trainers, youth leaders, youth policy makers, and youth coaches from the Eastern Partner countries, including Belarus, to take part in a study visit aiming to explore the European Youth Village model, strengthen rural youth ecosystems, and help inspire the 2027 European Rural Youth Summit.

The study visit is scheduled for 12-16 October 2026 and will take place in Sâncraiu, Cluj County, Romania.

The ‘From RURAL to PLURAL’ approach helps turn rural youth from “beneficiaries” to co-creators at a municipal and community level.

Study participants in the visit will meet local youth initiative groups, municipal actors and practitioners, visit Sancraiu, a European Youth Village youth-friendly community, and work in mixed-country labs to translate learning into project concepts and policy-oriented follow-up.

ANPCDEFP will organise and cover the costs for accommodation and food for the period of the training course.

The deadline for applications is 6 September.
