Interns continue their professional journey with a training on protocol, as well as on public administration

The 150 interns of the two Internship programmes – one funded by the EU and Denmark, and one by the national budget – learned the essential elements of protocol. Everything about attire, national emblems, sitting arrangements and other elements – especially useful to those working directly in foreign affairs sector, but also any other institution hosting official delegations.
As well, young people were familiarized with the functioning of public administration – roles and responsibilities of institutions and their cooperation mechanisms.
The training session on elements of protocol and diplomacy was conducted by certified trainer Maria Golubas; and the training on public administration – by Senior Non-Key Expert on Strategic Planning of the ‘Moldova is Europe’ project Irina Alexe.
The Internship Programme implies weekly training sessions with various lecturers – national and international experts, aimed at strengthening interns’ skills. The Programme lasts two months, offering students, master students and recent graduates the possibility to work in public institutions, hand in hand with civil servants, and receive a monthly scholarship of 250 Euro.
