Restoration of the Manuc Bey Complex
Around 2.5 million euros were allocated for the restoration of the Princely Palace and the reconstruction of the underground passage leading to the House of the Manuc Bey Steward (Casa Vechilului). 90% of the total project value was provided by the European Union. Today, the Manuc Bey complex is one of the best-known cultural landmarks of the district and attracts tourists from the country and all over the world.
Brodețchi – a new factory in Hîncești
With support provided through the state aid scheme backed by the EU Growth Plan, Brodețchi is building a modern bakery factory in Hîncești. The new facility will expand production, create at least 30 jobs, and help the company prepare bakery products for export to Romania.
Renovation of the “Albinuța” Kindergarten
For the 160 children who attend it, the “Albinuța” kindergarten is now warmer, safer, and more energy-efficient. The building was thermally insulated, the roof and heating system were modernized, and the courtyard was redesigned. The works cost nearly 5.6 million lei, of which about 3.9 million were provided by the EU.
Green energy in eight villages
In Cărpineni, Crasnoarmeiscoe, Cotul Morii, Dancu, Drăgușenii Noi, Logănești, Boghiceni, and Obileni, 5,600 people benefit from locally produced renewable energy. With over 560,000 euros in European funds, 12 public institutions are heated with biomass, and two use solar energy for hot water.
Cărpineni – ideile locale devin afaceri
Un proiect european de peste 244.000 de euro a contribuit la crearea Centrului de Consultanță în Afaceri din Cărpineni. Antreprenorii primesc aici instruire, consultanță și ajutor pentru accesarea finanțărilor. Proiectul a instruit 35 de antreprenori, peste 100 de angajați și mai mult de 30 de tineri.
Fîrlădeni – locally produced renewable energy
FIN PERFORM INVEST from Fîrlădeni received a European grant of 200,000 lei to develop electricity generation capacities from renewable sources. The investment helps the company grow and utilize green resources more efficiently.
Leușeni – a modernized customs checkpoint
With the support of the European Union, the Leușeni customs post has been modernized for safer and more efficient cross-border traffic. The administrative building and access roads were renovated, pavilions and canopies were built, and water and sewage networks were improved.
CIUBALIN – a better-equipped bakery
The CIUBALIN company from Hîncești benefited from a grant of approximately 492,000 lei to modernize its production space. The new professional equipment helps the business produce more efficiently and offer quality bakery and pastry products.
VIVACAR PLUS – modern automotive services
VIVACAR PLUS received a European grant of 192,000 lei through the “Start for Youth” program. With this funding, the car repair shop in Hîncești was equipped with modern tools and equipment necessary to provide faster and better services.
