A new EU-funded project: TRIMEDIA – Trustworthy Reporting, Impactful Media, Engaged Communities

DW Akademie, in collaboration with Asociatia Presei Independente, launches a new EU-funded project „TRIMEDIA” Moldova. DW Akademie will partner with the public broadcaster TRM to increase media literacy for mature audiences through edutainment programming. Younger media users will receive MIL comics that are great in formal and informal educational settings.

The project consists of a whole set of activities:

• the establishment of Crisis Communication Chapters (CCC)
• targeted MIL campaigns
• comprehensive support measures to safeguard media workers from digital, physical, and psychological threats

At the kick-off event in Chișinău, the European Union in the Republic of Moldova, the German embassy, Compania Teleradio Moldova and other stakeholders and media gathered to celebrate the launch of the project.
