With European Union support and implemented by the Organization for the Development of Small and Medium Enterprises (ODIMM) in partnership with the International Center for Advancement of Women in Business (ICAWB), "Business Academy for Women" project aims to promote rural women’s social and economic empowerment by reducing gender inequalities in rural areas and increasing women’s access to resources, assets, services, innovation technologies and economic opportunities.
Within the project, 300 women entrepreneurs from Moldova ( including the districts on the left bank of the Nistru and the Gagauzia administrative unit) will take part in a training program on how to make more efficient their company business model and orient their companies to new markets, including exporting.
the end of the training, 6 000 EURO grants will be awarded to 10 selected women entrepreneurs. The grants will be used for company development.

For the first time in Moldova, within the framework of this project will be approved elements of European training program PLATO. It involves the transfer of knowledge from experienced entrepreneurs to entrepreneurs who want to grow, while successful entrepreneurs have the opportunity to share the experiences and secrets of their activity.

The BAW project offers women the chance to realize their entrepreneurial potential by developing business management skills, facilitating women's access to productive technologies in order to strengthen and increase the revenue-maximizing capacity of women-run businesses. The project is in line with the EU’s broader efforts to promote women’s empowerment.

- To develop a community focused on encouraging the entrepreneurship of women, and to facilitate the exchange of experience among women in society.
- To elaborate a Mentoring Guide for the future business mentors.
- To contribute to the formation of a community of entrepreneurs and the creation of the “National Network of Women Mentors in Moldova.
